My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at In Japan, and they did not disappoint. Our server Angela was excellent. She gave us just the right amount of time to get settled before she came to get our drink orders. She answered our questions professionally, and she repeated our orders to make sure she had them correctly. After bringing our meals, she checked back in with us to make sure all was well, and then she disappeared! Just like a professional waitress should! She made sure our drinks were refilled almost without our knowing she had done so. She neither over waited nor under waited the table. We could not have asked for better! And the food! Delicious! We had shrimp, scallops, and salmon. They were all delicious, but GET THE SALMON!!! We will be back. ~ Ray H

First time here and will definitely be back. We read reviews and we were not disappointed. We got hibachi steak, shrimp, and chicken. The chicken was a little dry but the steak was amazing as well as the shrimp and vegetables. Of course the fried rice was so good, too. Our hibachi chef was very entertaining and made for a fun night. My daughter and I tried the sushi. It was very good and freshly made. The appetizer salad dressing was incredible. The flavor combinations and freshness was incredible. We came on a Friday night and had to wait about 30 minutes. Definitely worth the wait! ~ Melody D

One of our favorite places to go on special occasions or jus anytime we can't agree on what we want to eat...but we always agree on steaks, seafood and >sushi><for me<!!! We always sit at the Hibachi grill and our cook was the coolest!!! I can't remember his name, but he was a good cook and very entertaining, too!!! What I do remember is that he's lives in our same town...down the street from my husband's job, as a matter of fact!!! So yes, Injapan ticks every box for us...good food, service and entertainment...five star worthy so far...keep up the good work!!! ~ S M

My wife and I went in there last Friday for dinner as part of our date. I had heard good things about this place but finally decided to try it and I see why people love it. The Hibachi Chicken with fried rice was better than I had expected, having been to other Asian inspired restaurants. My wife got the Hibachi Shrimp which I had to snatch a piece and it was just as good as it looks. The service was as good as the food, our server gracy was very friendly and helpful when we had questions. Will definitely be coming back for the food and great table service. We had a great experience at In Japan! It’s a fun and welcoming place whether you’re going with family or planning a nice date night. You have the option to enjoy hibachi-style cooking with a personal chef, which adds a great interactive experience, or sit at a regular table if you prefer a more relaxed meal. We tried the sushi, had some drinks from the bar, and enjoyed the hibachi chicken and steak—everything was delicious. Overall, a really nice spot with great food and atmosphere. I tried the In Japan House Roll. It was five-st⭐r. The staff was busy and they all seemed to have great attitudes even if food was behind. We always enjoy our meals here. Good for couples, families and groups. We had one issue and it was when we walked out the door. My husband is 6'4 and around the corner when you walk out he came to a dead stop because of hitting his head on the overhang. I'm glad he was wearing a hat because I think it would have cut his head open. But he's fine 😆 got a nice bump on the noggin though. ~ Michal

This is a great sushi place! I had the titanic roll. The sauce was sweet and delicious. And the tuna and salmon had a very fresh taste. I especially liked the crab meat on top which had a sweet taste to it. The presentation was also nice with the wasabi shaped into a leaf, something cool I had never seen before. The waitress was also very nice and went out of her way to recommend the dish that I ate. The sushi chef even was attentive though he didn’t have to be. Overall I felt very welcomed here and the sushi was very good. I highly recommend. ~ Samuel F

I've worked in the restaurant business a large part of my life so, I know how it works when you come in close to closing. I was on the road traveling and trying to get a meal that wasn't McDonalds or Taco Bell, but I was kinda in between large towns. I was actually settling for IHOP and saw this place and that I had 15 mins to spare. They kindly took me in and cooked me Hibachi. Great staff, Great food, definitely recommend just try to come at a more reasonable time than I did lol. ~ David P

My 4 year old great granddaughter loved her birthday party here. They really entertained her. She loved watching them cook the food and of course the tricks the chef did while cooking made her and her brother so happy. The employees were so friendly and food was great. The best fried rice I have had ever. My steak was perfect. It's a great family restaurant. He 7 year old brother said he wanted his party there to. Everyone had fun and everyone enjoyed their food. ~ Sandy W

Standard soup and ginger salad and it was good. Ginger dressing didn't need salt like some places. Fried rice was was great. I got the filet and shrimp. The filet was the most tender beef I have ever had and Wagyu ribeye is being considered here. The shrimp dipped in the yum yum sauce is out of this world delicious!! The chef put on a great show and they are generous with the portions of hot Sake. ~ Wesley S

Food was delicious as well as service was impeccable... Our order was brought to us hot, cooked to order, and fast... We got their a little past 9pm so the hibachi grill was already closed so we suggest you arrive earlier of you want the full experience but the atmosphere was very nice with nice music and a gentleman who was from Japan who loved to share about his country and keeps you smiling... This experience was an amazing one! Wonderful fast, polite service and yummy sushi. What a sweet surprise across from an overnight stop. The place was packed, but that didn't slow them down. If your passing through, please don't hesitate to stop by. We sat at the bar. It has chairs. I'd do it again. Sadly I only took a photo of my seaweed salad. I must have too hungry to remember to photograph my roll and sushi when it came. Hahaha ~ Lori

It was my first time at the restaurant visiting a friend. I enjoyed the food and the hibachi experience. The person cooking the food did a great job of keeping us entertained. I feel like the food was cooked really quickly as well. I had the fried rice and chicken and shrimp (unpictured). I forgot to take pictures of the food. The fried cheesecake was good but it felt weird eating warm cheesecake. Overall great experience, I would go back. ~ Lawrencia L

We celebrated our sister's birthday yesterday at InJapan restaurant in Marshall, TX. It was a wonderful experience. Our server Lacey was welcoming and very attentive to all, especially our Sister. Ricky Bobby our chef entertained us with his fire art and cooking skills. The food was delicious and plentiful. It was my first time there, but not the last. ~ Karen B

I went to Marshall the other day. I decided I would try this Japanese restaurant I’ve heard good things about, And when I got there, I was welcomed by my server, Diana. She was the most sweet bubbly Girl, I’ve had the pleasure of waiting on me in a long time. I would definitely come back just for the wonderful service great food and amazing atmosphere. Me and the wife went and it was super crowded. We waited 15 minutes at the door only. Had soups before our meals and the Miso soup was amazing! We got a bunch of sushi rolls to try and they were so good! The Monkey Brains roll was the best, then Spider roll, Marshall roll, Playboy roll. We also got the Ahi Tower dish. Hands down the best sushi we've ever had! 10 star rating please! Lol ~ Matt R

This is my all time favorite place to eat! The quality and flavor of the food is outstanding. I love sitting at the hibachi because I can see exactly what is going into my food and it comes onto the plate fresh and hot, not reheated like so many places are doing now a days. I love the jalapeno bombs, the fried rice and they make a great Zombie at the bar! ~ Darkwing D

My husband and I were traveling down to Texas for a funeral and stopped in to eat here for dinner. The sushi was wonderful, the chefs were friendly and made us feel very welcome and the presentation was just as good as the sushi. Yessica was our waitress and she was absolutely precious and took great care of us. We will definitely be back if we ever find ourselves in Marshall again. ~ Johnna W

I always get the steak and shrimp with fried rice. The food tastes great every time I go and service is great no matter the server but my favorite servers are Brianna and Karlie. The bar always has great drinks but my favorite are the sake-Rita’s. They have a great sushi selection as well. I recommend injapan for anyone looking for a Japanese experience in Marshall! ~ Billy W

This was our second time there and the service and food was outstanding. Our waitress Tammie provided outstanding service… she greeted us properly and explained the menu to us. After we placed our order our food was brought promptly it was so delicious. Tammie was so attentive to our needs. I would recommend this place and ask for Tammie. ~ Miguel F

The food here is most certainly worth the price. The service is terrific, and the food quality and quantity goes beyond many people's expectations. Moreso, the food is authentic and shows care in the form of an artistic presentation. Eating here is an experience that each of us should have the pleasure of indulging in! ~ Joshua A

I took my family here and chose the habati grill. Everyone had a great time. The chef was very funny and personal. The food was wonderful. Our waitress (Laura maybe) was very diligent and took great care of the entire table (which was a large party) We will definitely return soon. I cant belive this place is in marshall. ~ Barry A

Totally obsessed with this place! Best hibachi in between Tyler and Shreveport. The staff is exceptional, they go above and beyond! Yessica has even memorized my to go order, before I walk in my order is already typed in and ready to go. You can’t find better service in Marshall. Definitely worth a try ~ Zach C

Food was delicious! Our girls absolutely loved both their chicken and then stealing the steak of their daddy’s plate. Our Hibachi grill master was absolutely entertaining and incorporated both girls into the cooking. Our waitress Lainee was prompt and kept our drinks refilled and dishes cleared.
